All these years,

I have waited in lines,

I have patiently waited for my time,

To make sure I worship him,

To make sure I receive his blessings,

This year- is a unique celebration,

A one I'm sure you will remember,

Ganesh Chathurthi 2020 is here.


Finally it's a beautiful time,

In a not-so great year,

Just because of the much awaited,

Exit of an unwanted guest.

It's time to celebrate!

Despite the virus,

We have finally invited a guest,

The one we have been waiting for,

All through the year,

Ganpati, this year is a unique celebration.


Although our world has changed,

Worshipping Bappa- is not the same,

We have to move forward with times,

This year meeting Bappa is online,

Through pictures and videos and on social media,

Ganpati, this year is a unique celebration.


This year- just like every other year,

My emotions are the same,

It's a special occasion..extra special this year,

Not like all the other years,

This year I will be spending some time alone with Bappa
