Perception: My book is out now!

 Three years later,

Here I am,

Sharing with my world, a piece of my world,

Presenting to you, Perception- A Collection of Poems!

Yes, you heard it right,

I published a book!

I'll say that again,

I proudly present to you, 

Perception- Quite literally: A big big piece of my heart,

A fresh perspective,

A new idea to ponder about,

The world around me,

The things that matter to me,

Is now out to the world! 

Three years on,

What made me publish this book,

When I already had a set platform out here?

Writing for me began with a simple college assignment,

I just took it way more seriously than a regular "assignment",

And ever since that day,

I wanted to create this book,

It's important for me,

It will always be my top priority,

I have a vision,

I have a solid plan,

I have dreamt of this again and again,

I want to be recognised for my writing,

I want to be identified, so to say, through my work,

Numbers or statistics won't really mean much to me,

I'm here to allow my writing to speak for me,

One day,

I'm sure Perception will reach places!

You might really wonder why this is becoming such a "big deal"??

Well, it is,

There was a point, where I saw NOTHING beyond the book,

This book, this platform is something I created for three years,

This book, this platform is something I worked towards for three years,

I went against all odds,

I went against the "regular" norms,

To be fair, I rose from the hate and negativity,

To be honest, the positivity and support kept  me going,

I know you're there for me,

For the love and hate both,

I'm probably going to believe,

You're here to stay,

To see Perception grow,

To see this blog page grow,

Because this is a proof of better and bigger things,

This is a proof of a girl just following her passion,

And it just doesn't end here!
