Soldiers' Appeal

Hey there you human!
You are safe at home,
You will be safe at all public places,
You will be able to sleep peacefully,
You will be able feel your wife's kiss on your forehead..again and again..
You will be able to hold your small kids in your big arms everyday..again and again..
It's because of this,
I appeal to you.

It's because I chose to keep you safe,
It's because I chose to let you sleep peacefully,
Its because I'm not sure of feeling my wife's kiss on my forehead...again and again..
It's because I'm not sure of holding my small kids in my big arms everyday..again and again..
I appeal to you.

Hey there you human!
I'm not sure of reaching home,
I'm not sure of whether or not I will be granted leave,
I'm not sure if I will be able to join my family,
For every occasion that we celebrate,
I'm not sure of what time I'll be expected to report at work,
Or even leave from work...
It's because of this,
I appeal to you.

Hey human out there,
Don't kill another human out there,
Don't make it difficult for me to be safe,
Don't make it difficult for me to sleep peacefully,
Don't make it diffictult for my wife and kids,
Don't make it difficult for me to celebrate every ocassion with them... I miss them everyday.
It's my appeal to you,as a soldier of this nation.
