That Tremendous Change

She just gave birth,
She just got a mini version of herself,
Now she's  more than only a woman,
Now she's more than only herself,
Now she's a mother and that is,
A tremendous change.

She had already planned these days,
They had visualised it as parents dad says,
She had many roles now dadi ji says,
She believes she's a  multi tasker,
A wife and a mother and that is,
A tremendous change.

She has a variety of roles to play,
She was  by-default a teacher,best friend and much more,
She is all in one for her mini version,
All of these for everyday now,
How would she become everything for me all at once?
When that is,
A tremendous change.

Over the years,
She would  confess and say proudly,
She has  played so many roles for her mini version,
But her most important role was that of a mother.

She always said,
Being a mother is truly one of the best emotions that she had felt,
Being a mother of 3 she  believed was her lucky charm,
And is still one of those roles in her life that is,
Overpowering the rest and that is,
A tremendous change.
